Jeanmarie gave a flawless thesis talk with many family, friends, faculty and lab members (current and alumni) in attendance either in person or via zoom. Jeanmarie has worked furiously to finish up her project on the role of filaggrin in the early life immune response to skin bacteria and is set to depart us at the end of this month for a fantastic year-long experience as a California Council on Science and Technology Fellow. We're very proud of her, will miss her a lot in the lab but are so excited to have someone as bright and accomplished as she is joining the force for good in science policy.
